Starting at SCAD

In early September, I began my fall quarter at SCAD Savannah, I am on the path towards a double major in Film and Acting. In the process, I met so many wonderful humans, and ended the quarter now having best friends on my side to have mutual support with. My roommates could not have been more supportive of my career path, and I loved seeing what they were up to in their fields of study, from Illustration to Ceramics.. it was so beautiful to me to see the differences in our coursework. While we were knocking out foundations, some of us were lucky enough to be able to have a class related to our major, I had Speaking of Ideas, First Year Experience, Design, Thinking, & Process, as well as my personal favorite.. Story to Screen: FILM100. Although I had to leave campus in the middle of the quarter for a booking. I learned so much about creative collaboration, and got the chance to write another short film for our final project. My short film was called Y2KIDS, below is the pitchdeck.

I am eternally grateful to have had Professor Justin Lange as my film professor, and I hope to join some of his classes again! My experience during my first quarter was a beautiful beginning to my college journey, and I cannot wait to share more of what I have been up to. Below are some photos of projects, and pictures with friends. Thank you for reading :)

Best, Addisyn Grace Cain
